OVERVIEW
The National Defence Academy (NDA) Entrance Test is a significant examination in India. It's an entrance examination for admission to the National Defence Academy and the Indian Naval Academy. It serves as the gateway for aspiring candidates to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. The UPSC conducts the NDA & Naval Academy exam twice a year generally in March/April and September termed as NDA 1 and NDA 2.
- Examination Process: The selection process involves two stages:
- Written Examination: Consists of two papers: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT).
- Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview: Candidates who qualify in the written exam are called for the SSB interview.

- NDA 1 2025 exam: April 13, 2025.
- NDA 2 2025 exam: September 14, 2025.
