Eligibility Requirements:

· Medical Fitness: Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate from the relevant aviation authority (e.g., DGCA in India, FAA in the US).  

· Passport and Nationality: A valid passport with unrestricted rights to live and work in the operating country and travel worldwide is typically required.

Training Phases:

1. Ground School: Comprehensive theoretical training, this often includes preparing for and passing the required DGCA (or equivalent) examinations.  

2. Flight Training: Practical flying experience to obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME) rating. Flight training might occur at a flight training academy partnered with the airline, potentially in another country (e.g., US for some Indian programs).  

3. License Conversion: If the initial flight training is done under a different aviation authority (like FAA), there's a phase to convert the license to the local authority's standards (e.g., DGCA in India).

4. Type Rating: Training on the specific type of aircraft the airline operates (e.g., Airbus A320, Boeing 737). This includes ground school on the aircraft systems and extensive simulator training to learn how to operate the specific aircraft type.
